“My favorite thing about the healthcare industry is working with a group of people who truly put patient care and satisfaction above anything else.”

Courtney Jacobs
Administrator, BHS
Courtney has been working in the healthcare industry since 2016, beginning her journey as a CNA and progressing to leadership roles within the private duty home care sector. She earned her Associate of Science in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program, followed by her Bachelor of Health Science in Health Services Administration from Washburn University. Throughout her career, Courtney has witnessed firsthand the vital role hospice care plays in the lives of patients and their families. For the past two years, she has focused exclusively on hospice care, contributing to the success of a start-up hospice company that achieved a deficiency-free survey. This accomplishment reflects her commitment to deliver high-quality care and to foster a nurturing environment for everyone involved. Courtney is dedicated to building trust and ensuring that every individual feels valued and understood.
"My greatest privilege being in the healthcare industry, specifically hospice, is the opportunity to accompany patients and their families during the final stages of their journey. Being part of such a profound and delicate time in their lives. It is an honor to help them navigate this journey with compassion, dignity, and respect."
